Laura Morgan is an author and a librarian living in New England. Laura writes novels for adults with fantasy, science fiction, romance, and horror. Laura’s work centers sapphic protagonists and romances, and representation is an important part of their writing.
Like any good cliche of a writer, Laura Morgan picked up her first book at a young age, and never stopped with one. She was heavily influenced by fantasies and science fiction that could be devoured heartily, but the taste of which would sit on your tongue for the rest of your lifetime. Growing up in a town just north of Boston, they found adventure and familiarity in written words, and in the other readers they befriended and loved.
Laura attended Suffolk University for a Bachelor’s in English Literature, additionally focusing on Creative Writing for a concentration. She went on to attain a Master’s in Library & Information Sciences at Simmons University, and is currently continuing her education with an Archives Management Certificate, again, at Simmons.
Currently, Laura spends their time writing, studying, and working at their library. While this keeps her plenty busy, she always makes time for the ten-pound little beast that lives in her house and screams at her for food several times a day. They’re actually incredibly fond of this creature, aptly called the Valkyrie, and snuggle her routinely in exchange for purrs. Please see Valkyrie pictured below.
